Parx Interactive is heading to western Pennsylvania.
Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, owner of Parx Interactive, announced Monday a multi-year partnership agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is now an PA online casino partner of the six-time Super Bowl champions.
The partnership will feature integrated marketing targeted to Steelers fans, including a season-long promotion, called “The Ultimate Steelers Fan,” where a fan can win the grand prize of an all-expenses paid trip for two, for each away game of the 2022 season, according to a news release. This promotion will be supported through digital, social, and other media channels for those gambling in Pennsylvania.
“Steelers fans are passionate and their love of the game is legendary,” Matthew Cullen, senior vice president of Parx iGaming and sports at Parx Interactive, said in the release. “We look forward to tapping into that passion and providing Steelers Nation with an outstanding entertainment experience in all forms of iGaming.”
In August, the Steelers announced a deal with Unibet, making It an official sportsbook partner. Unibet PA also has a PA sports betting partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Use of Steelers Logos
Parx Interactive, based in Bensalem outside of Philadelphia, will have full use of Steelers logos in communications across marketing, products, social media, and digital platforms, the release said.
This is the third professional team Parx has signed, having reached previous deals with the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons.
“We’re excited to bring Parx Interactive into the fold as a proud online casino partner,” Ryan Huzjak, Steelers vice president of sales & marketing, said in the release. “We think Steelers fans will enjoy the Parx Interactive platform and the opportunity to compete for unique Steelers prizes and experiences.”
Parx Interactive operates iGaming mobile-first entertainment products in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has recently launched products in Michigan.
The Pittsburgh Steelers open their 2021 campaign on Sept. 12 at the Buffalo Bills with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
