Pennsylvania will be getting another sports wagering and interactive gaming platform.
During Wednesday’s Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) monthly meeting, U.S.-based Digital Gaming Corp. was unanimously approved and will be another option for Pennsylvania bettors to sign up for in the future.
DGC has the exclusive right to use the Betway brand in the U.S. and has secured market access for online online sports betting in PA and online casinos in PA in 10 states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana and Iowa. DGC’s first bet in the U.S. was taken in March in Colorado.

Pennsylvania will be Betway’s second live market when launched. In addition to Colorado, and with Pennsylvania on the way, Betway says three other states will be coming soon: Indiana, Iowa and New Jersey.
Digital Gaming has offices in Silicon Beach, Florida, and North Haledon, New Jersey.
Betway Parent Agrees to go Public
Late last month, Super Group — the parent company of sportsbook Betway and online casino offering Spin — agreed to go public in a $4.75 billion deal with Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).
The partnership with Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp., which is led by former NFL Executive Vice President Eric Grubman and former NHL Chief Operating Officer John Collins, gives Super Group and the Betway brand a chance to increase its presence in the U.S.
To emphasize the push into the U.S. online sports betting and casino gaming markets, Super Group bought DGC, subject to regulatory approvals.
Betway has more than 60 brand partnerships with teams and leagues, including the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers; and English Premier League team West Ham United.
Betway’s NHL Partnership
On May 14, Betway announced its first partnership with a North American professional sports league. The NHL named Betway an Official Sports Betting Partner. The multiyear partnership launched on May 15 with the start of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The partnership with the NHL gives Betway the right to use league marks, logos and official designations. Betway will also have access to NHL-controlled media assets during the partnership, including digital, social and email marketing campaigns.
