Memorial Day Weekend is a month away, and many people across the nation will be traveling to some of the best gaming resorts in the nation, compiling points rewards along the way..
Rewards points will change for one of the key PA gambling sites.
One of the nation's largest gaming companies, PENN Entertainment, has announced a whole new way to achieve the rewards a consumer wants and earns.
The company unveiled PENN Play, an enhanced customer loyalty program that will replace its mychoice branded program for more than 26 million loyalty members and counting. Members can earn and redeem rewards across PENN Entertainment's portfolio of brands, whether it be through hotel/resort stays, gaming, dining or shopping.
All brands will be "under one roof," as they say.
The company’s new loyalty currency will be named PENN Cash, which can be earned at any of PENN destinations across the country featuring Hollywood Casino, L’Auberge and M Resort or even online at Barstool Sportsbook & Casino, HollywoodCasino.com and PENNPlaycasino.com.
Pennsylvania, of course, is one of a handful of U.S. states with real money online casinos, along with New Jersey, Delaware, Michigan, Connecticut and West Virginia.
Those states, plus Nevada, also offer Pennsylvania online poker.
“PENN’s business has transformed over the last few years as we’ve expanded our retail, online gaming and entertainment experiences,” said Jay Snowden, chief executive officer and president of PENN Entertainment, in a news release. “With the rebranding of our loyalty program to PENN Play, we are taking steps to better align all of our brands under the PENN umbrella and create a more seamless omni-channel experience for our customers, which we believe will have a meaningful impact on both our retail and online gaming performance."
New Veterans Program Also Unveiled
Also, to replace myheroes, the company has introduced PENN Heroes, which will feature more rewards and recognition for active-duty military, veterans and first responders. Among the enhancements is a PENN Play tier upgrade and discounts across hotels, dining and shopping at PENN locations.
Since May of 2021, more than 182,000 members have enrolled in the program.
Highlights of the new PENN Play program include:
- Customers can begin earning just by signing up. There are more benefits and rewards at each of five tier levels - Play, Advantage, Preferred, Elite and Owners Club.
- A new online marketplace at which members can redeem gifts and earn tier points and PENN Cash on everyday items.
- New entertainment options with PENN partner brands such as Live Nation and Choice Hotels.
- The website and mobile app will have new rewards, which allow members to participate in exclusive promotions.
To celebrate Monday's launch, PENN Play is rolling out a promotional campaign that will give away $1.5 million in PENN Cash and prizes to current and new members.
