PA Online Casino Approval Granted For Red Rake Gaming

PA Online Casino Approval Granted For Red Rake Gaming
Fact Checked by Jim Tomlin

Red Rake Gaming, an online casino game designer with addresses in Spain and Malta, announced that it has been granted a license by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to offer its content in that jurisdiction.

Red Rake, with a portfolio of slots and tale games, has already been active in numerous states in the U.S., with its social casino content. But Pennsylvania online casinos customers represent the company’s first opportunity to bring real-money casino games to the American market.

PA Among Small Number of iGaming States

Pennsylvania is one of only a handful of U.S. jurisdictions that allows for iGaming, meaning real-money wagering on online slots and table games.

Other states that have iGaming are New Jersey, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, and Connecticut. Nevada has internet poker but not casino games. Rhode Island is expected to launch iGaming in 2024.

Other U.S. jurisdictions have discussed iGaming and occasionally legislation has been introduced but the number of states that have actually launched online casinos remains limited. Online operators in the Keystone State, many of which offer PA casino bonuses, launched in 2019.

Recently, Maryland has commissioned a study to determine the impact of iGaming on its overall gaming market. Pennsylvania’s neighbor already includes bricks-and-mortar casinos, online and retail sports betting, horse racing, bingo and the lottery.

However, Pennsylvania represents what Red Rake calls a “major milestone” as its first American real-money market.

More About Red Rake Gaming

We are extremely confident about the U.S. and the integral part it will play in Red Rake Gaming’s continued growth.”

Red Rake joins the PA online slots market with titles such as Mystic Spirits, Million Vegas, Big Size Fishin’ and Triple Irish. Red Rake also offers its content internationally, including in more than 20 regulated markets. Some of their most recent additions include Bulgaria, Switzerland and Lithuania.
