The dawn of America’s first professional women’s three-on-three basketball league is officially on the horizon, as Unrivaled launches with six teams dotted with some of the sport’s biggest stars next month. The league was founded by WNBA all-star players Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, giving women’s basketball players a domestic league to compete in during the offseason to avoid having to play overseas to supplement their yearly salaries.
The new league will be three-on-three style basketball played on a full court that’s 70 feet long by 50 feet in width, with games consisting of four quarters that are seven minutes long, with six players on each of the six teams competing in the league.
At PennStakes.com - your home for Pennsylvania sports betting coverage - we’re excited to watch the inaugural season in 2025, so we developed exclusive odds projecting which team will win the league. A majority of the rosters have been fully announced, with head coaches in place. Many of these players are from Pennsylvania, including Kahleah Copper, Natasha Cloud, Courtney Williams, Kayla McBride, and Alyssa Thomas.

Our preseason favorite to win the debut season of Unrivaled is Phantom BC, which includes legendary WNBA forward Brittney Griner as well as league stalwarts like Jackie Young, Tiffany Hayes, Marina Mabrey and Satou Sabally. The Griner-led squad holds +250 championship odds entering the first season of three-on-three basketball, sitting ahead of Vinyl BC (+350), Mist BC (+500), Rose BC (+600), Lunar Owls BC (+950) and Laces BC (+1050).
Vinyl BC is an interesting team to watch this year, with Aliyah Boston teaming up with Arike Ogunbowale and Dearica Hamby to lead the team in 2025, while Rose BC features rising star Angel Reese and WNBA veterans like Copper and Chelsea Gray.
Mist BC features league co-founder Breanna Stewart and WNBA vets like Courtney Vandersloot and Aaliyah Edwards, while Lunar Owls BC features Skylar Diggins-Smith, Natasha Cloud and Napheesa Collier.
Only one team will have the right mixture of on-court guile and camaraderie to emerge victorious at year’s end, however, as Season One of Unrivaled tips off from Miami on Jan. 17 across TV networks TNT and TruTV.
