The inaugural season of the startup professional women’s basketball league known as Unrivaled League is less than a week from reaching its first ever postseason, with two semifinal contests slated to take place on Sunday evening before the championship game on Monday.
As the league’s season winds down, it’s safe to say that the outstanding title favorite is the Lunar Owls, who have a five game lead in the league table, going 12-1 (.923) out of the gate with a +136 point differential, looking the part of a championship frontrunner.

It’s hard to go against the Lunar Owls as the runaway title favorite in The Unrivaled League’s first season, with -150 odds of winning it all in 2025, ranking ahead of Rose BC, which checks in at +400 to upset the league leaders that are five games ahead of the 7-6 collective on the hardwood.
Other leading candidates to win the first season in The Unrivaled League are Vinyl BC (+900), Mist BC (+2150), Laces BC (+3000) and Phantom BC (+4050), though the other five teams are all in hot pursuit of Lunar Owls BC, which features WNBA stars like Allisha Gray, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Napheesa Collier and second year rising star in the paint Cameron Brink.

The league tips off in Miami, Florida on January 17, 2025. The 3-3 format will last eight weeks before playoffs begin March 16 and 17.
There are six teams in total, four of those teams will qualify for the postseason.
TNT Sports will be airing the entire season, with an opening night broadcast on TNT.
