Key Contributors Toward Steelers Super Bowl Odds
While many questioned Mike Tomlin's move to bench Justin Fields in favor of Russell Wilson, the early results have backed the head coach's decision. The offense was functioning and the Steelers were winning with Fields, but Wilson has unlocked the passing game. If George Pickens can continue to step up and another passing weapon emerges, the offense will be in a strong spot for the rest of the season. It remains to be seen how Mike Williams will fit into the offense, but fans certainly want to see tight end Pat Freiermuth be more consistently involved. Najee Harris has controlled the backfield with Jaylen Warren dealing with injuries, but hopefully the bye week came at the right time for Warren to be a bigger part going forward.
Defensively, there isn't much to say. This unit has been one of the best across the league for several seasons, and things haven't changed this year. With T.J. Watt wreaking havoc and Joey Porter Jr. growing in his second season in the big leagues, the defense sets the tone. It will be interesting to see where Preston Smith fits in, as Alex Highsmith has been a force opposite Watt. It also looks like the Steelers found a hidden gem with rookie Beanie Bishop.

Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl 59 Outlook and Predictions
Despite the success early in the year, it's difficult to feel confident in the Steelers' prospects of winning the Super Bowl. Maybe it's the years of underperformance in the postseason, but the second half of the season will be the barometer needed to determine whether the team is legit or not. In addition to having all six AFC North games still to be played, Pittsburgh also has matchups against the Eagles and Chiefs.
