On the heels of a four-year run where he racked up 4,312 rushing yards, 28 touchdowns and an approximate value of 31 in 68 games, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris is officially set to become an unrestricted free agent for the first time this offseason.
The team at PennStakes.com went ahead and compiled some hypothetical odds on where Harris will go next, with the Steelers still standing as the most likely landing spot for their star back this offseason, while other running back-needy clubs like the Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers are among the frontrunners to sign the former Alabama star.

Harris is coming off a fourth NFL season where he ran for 1,043 yards and six touchdowns in 17 games, adding another 1,000-yard season to his collection and further establishing himself as one of the top backs in the game, which should garner him plenty of landing spots as the offseason rolls on.
Currently, the team at Spotrac.com estimates that Harris has a market value of $9.2 million, with an estimated contract of three years and $27,499,794, which would put him in line with some of the game’s up-and-coming backfield stars.
Our top landing spot for Harris’ backfield services is Pittsburgh, with the Steelers checking in at +200 to re-sign their homegrown star, while the Raiders (+600), Cowboys and Chargers (+900 each) are the most likely outside suitors for the fourth year back out of Alabama.
Longshot contenders to sign the Steelers running back include the Chicago Bears (+1100), Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings, with the final two co-listed at +1250 to land Harris this offseason, while “the field” is listed at +900 to cap things off.
For now, what we know is that Harris will have the chance to take his talents to the open market for the first time this offseason, with the Steelers having to vie with a host of other NFL teams to keep their star running back in the Steel City long-term.
